Very bright, white light.
These lights are excellent....My shop is about 28x40 and installed these end to end with a spacing of 3 feet. They really put out the light....I was skeptical at first, so I only ordered 3 sets to supplement the fluorescents that were already there, but they are much brighter than the fluorescents. I initially ordered 3 sets, but after installing those, I ordered another 3 sets to complete the installation. I read some reviews saying how some were rec'd damaged....but these were packaged in heavy cardboard tubes and then in a cardboard box. There wasn't any signs of damage anywhere. The mounting is a bit tricky..I installed 24 foot runs linked together..The ceiling must be flat or the lights will not clip into the supplied brackets. My ceiling was a little wavy so I placed wooden standoffs every 2 feet and installed the mounting brackets onto them. Took a little longer, but am very happy with the results...

Pick this one - works great
Fantastic product! I am a picky buyer and have looked at options for lighting. I ended up picking this one and I am glad that I did. So far I have 4 set up in my garage, plugged into an socket adapter in the garage opener so they turn on automatically when I open the door. These 4 are brighter than the 2 8-foot long florescent shop lights that were in there before - probably brighter than 3 (the 3rd bulb was out). The rounded square design works well - I don't have the round version to compare it with, but I specifically looked at the lights at different angles and they do an excellent job at diffusing the light so it isn't directional only to the ground. The 20" chords are significantly longer than the 8" chords that I saw being sold in other listings. The pack came with 8 and more than enough connectors and would be overkill for my garage, but I am happy to put extras in other places of the house. Great price (a single 4' at an unnamed home improvement store is going for the same price - this is 8 times as many), I was previously considering LED tape, but after power adapters and particularly channels, the price is compatible and this product doesn't need to assembly of the channels and they are easily linkable. Very simple to set up - Screw in brackets, push in light, plug in light, done. I squeezed the metal brackets (with my fingers) to make them hold tighter because I'm paranoid. No regrets, would buy again. Super bright and weigh very little. Easy install.
Excellent product. Easy to install with very bright LED lighting. Replaced two 48" fluorescent lights containing dual 34 watt bulbs each with 6 of these lights connected lengthwise. These lights are much brighter and have better dispersion than the old lights. Note the LEDs are covered so when you look directly at the lights they do not blind you and the entire light shows consistent light. Since the old fluorescent lights were inside a metal case case with plastic lense (standard shop lights) the light was directed in a more downward fashion. The design of these lights take advantage of reflection off the white ceiling in the garage making the whole space light up. Also, the set comes with all the necessary hardware to connect the lights in many different configurations. I didn't buy anything. Each light weighs so little (approx 1lb) that the small ceiling clips hold them perfectly. For my installation, I hardwired the lights into the existing ceiling outlets by cutting the supplied on/off switch and plug off the cord. The entire length of 6 lights works off 1 ceiling outlet using the existing 2 switches in my garage. By the way, I even dropped 2 of these lights while installing them at 12 feet. Neither one broke! Good quality product.

For the price, this is a win!
I have 4 shop lights in my garage with buzzing ballasts and annoying flickers. After my most-recent fluorescent bulb purchase, I was shocked to see a $1.90 environmental fee for each 2 pack of bulbs. I returned the bulbs and thus began my search for an alternative which led me to these. I’m not going to lie. These aren’t high-quality lights. They are super light and simply feel very delicate, flimsy, and fragile....but they work and they’re bright! And for the cost, they are absolutely worth it! Unlike other reviewers, mine came in perfect condition. Clearly this company worked out their packaging problems as evidenced by their beefy, crush proof shipping tube (which was then placed in an amazon box). Yes the screws for the brackets are cheap as mentioned by others, but they work fine if you know how to use a drill; go slow and you won’t strip it. Every bracket is too loose and the light bars won’t snap into place. All I did was bend the flimsy metal bracket on each side before instal which gave the light a nice, snug fit with no worries it will fall out. Comes as an 8-pack...but note that the instructions say you can only daisy chain 6 of them. Not quite 4 feet either...they measure 46” I have some that connect directly and others that use their cords and both work flawlessly thus far. I was short a bracket, so make sure you check your shipment right away. All in all, for $60, I have absolutely nothing to complain about...and now I have a bright garage. Solid deal. I would purchase these again depending on their longevity. Hoping they last!! 🤞🏻

Super bright and easy to install
Ordered these to install in a home garage for supplemental lighting. Originally only had a few standard 60w incandescent light bulbs to light a 25'x25' garage and they were not very bright. These lights shipped super fast and arrived very professionally packaged in a heavy duty round container. To make installation easy I used a simple light bulb socket to standard 2 prong electrical converter. Installation of these lights are very easy and only require a screw driver to mount the light holders. The lights are simple plug and play to configure as you wish. I installed these on my garage rafters in a simple "U" shaped pattern to disperse light where I need it most. Total installation time took less than 30min to mount and plug in all 8 lights. The light output is super bright! Excellent lights and highly recommend! I looked all over Amazon and even local stores like Costco and couldn't find a better deal.

As advertised, easy installation
These arrived today and I was able to install them immediately. I am using them to light a seedling starting cart for my garden, the 6500K daylight is perfect for what I need. I was deliberating between these and a similar product at twice the price, happy with my final decision. They are exactly as advertised and include 2 power cords and enough connectors to daisy chain the rest of the lamps. There are also some connectors allowing them to be connected end to end for 8', 12', 16' installations. I had some fluorescent T5 fixtures which these replaced, they are MUCH brighter than the fluorescent bulbs and almost cheaper than replacing the T5s. I was a little worried about shipping damage but they were well packaged in a thick cardboard tube AND an Amazon box. Delivery driver left them on my wet porch and there was not damage to the contents.

so fairly sturdy. I'm using 4 lights per shelf
I'm using these on my plants...after much review, I decided on these because of the extra long chain connector wires included. These lights were well packed, lots of included extras, they are light weight, I dropped one and it didn't break, so fairly sturdy. I'm using 4 lights per shelf, and I just used zip ties and ribbon to vary the height of the lights about 4 inches above the plants. Lights are chained 4 together and controlled by a timer. My fruiting plants are happy while they wait to go outdoors. My hydroponic lettuces are also growing well and the new leaves are all firm and glossy. This was an inexpensive solution for my plants, full spectrum white light. 6500k. So yea...my plants are loving it.

Great value, but with a few caveats

Install Flash Player I bought the 8 pack of these to use as grow lights. The set of eight was the cheapest per lumen I could find from a product with good reviews (17600 lumen for $50). Construction Each tube has a translucent cover with a square profile, most likely made of styrene. For my purposes I need max light output, so I removed them. They remove and snap back in easily so it won't be a issue to experiment with what option you like best. The "thick alu" is roughly 0.3mm standard aluminum extrusion. They are extremely lightweight and do flex quite a bit, but this should not be a problem as these are not designed to be portable fixtures. The kit included a lot of accessories (see picture). There are 19 brackets, 18 screws, 8 socket covers, and 8 extenders. These extenders function the same as the "connecting cords" except they allow bars to be connected end-to-end without any visible wires. As stated in product description, there are also 6 connecting cords (20") and 4 switched wall plugs (5'), both about 20AWG. This is on the thin side, but is fine for the small amount of current these draw. A note was included with the lights that cautions not to daisy-chain more than 6 lights--this keeps current within recommended ratings for 20AWG wire (<1.5A). The same gauge wire is used internally to bridge the power connectors. Note that the plugs are non-polarized and do not have a ground wire (despite the ground pin on the bars themselves). If these get submerged in water there is the potential for issue, but it is unlikely due to the relatively well-sealed tube. People have been complaining that the brackets are not strong enough, but I don't see the issue. Yes, they are thin and bendy, but the light bars are so light that the strength is sufficient. Once these are installed, they should hold the bars perfectly well with no fuss. If they do end up falling out, the brackets can be bent in slightly to better grip the bar. Electronics Each bar has a slightly flexible PCB that houses the LEDs and is held securely in a slot in the extrusion. This is NOT coated, so with plastic cover removed, the lights are no longer water-resistant. There are 96 LEDs per bar, and they are 2835 SMD type. These run at approximately 3.1V, and draw about 0.2A each. I don't have a light-meter to test the actual output, but the 2200 lumens stated in the product description are consistent with the specs for this type of LED. I would guess this is close to the actual output of the product. It is important to note that the "T5" moniker is more for size than flux. It is on par with a standard T5 tube, but it is less than half that of a T5HO. T5HO is commonly used in high-bay and grow light fixtures so be careful when doing comparisons with dedicated products. There is no noticeable flicker, and the light output is a nice cool white. 6500K is noticeably bluer than daylight (~5000K), so keep this in mind when picking the color temperature. For plants in the veg cycle, this is perfect. Each light bar contains its own DC power supply. This is wrapped in plastic and insulated from the aluminum tube, so there is not much to worry about. It gets warm, but not hot. The PSU is high-frequency enough to eliminate visible flicker, but this does cause problems with interference. There is a good amount of RF noise emitted by the power supply, detectable on an AM radio and with oscilloscope. I didn't notice any issues with other electronics plugged in nearby, so any interference could likely be mitigated by moving othre RF appliances a few feet away. Wrap Up These lights fantastic to grow some plants or brighten a workspace. They're quick to set up and very cheap. For the price, the build quality is perfectly adequate. I would absolutely buy again.

Amazing value for some very bright little lights
These lights are small and very lightweight, but put out a lot of light. I used three of them to replace an 8-foot fluorescent fixture and they provide brighter, cleaner light than the two fluorescent tubes, and they don't flicker. (Two would have provided about the same light as the two 8-ft. tubes, but I wanted more light so I used three.) I plan to use the other five over a couple of workbenches in the shop. The lights are designed to mount against a surface (wall or ceiling), not to hang like a shop light, so I had to rig up a hanging system to hang them in my shop. Basically, I screwed the brackets to a board and attached chains to the board using some screw eyes. I used shop light hanging kits from the depot to hang them about 2 feet from the floor joists in my basement workshop. I was a little concerned that the lights could pop out of the metal clips if I hit them with a ladder or something, so I added a couple of zip ties around each lamp for safety's sake. Looks a little klugey, but it works, and they light up my shop very well. If you're installing them in a room where you won't be bumping them with anything, the clips should be sufficient. You could bend them a little to make them tighter, but they do seem to hold pretty well. They are also designed to be plugged in using the included power cables. To wire them to a switch, I installed a switched outlet and plugged them into that. That's how I wire all my shop lights - makes it a lot easier to replace them if that's ever necessary. The 8-inch connector cables that are included worked out fine for my application. If you need to space them further apart you can buy longer cables or you can cut the included cables and solder in some more wire. One note - they do take about a half second to come on. But you get used to that pretty quick, and they are WAY better than the fluorescent light that would flicker for ten minutes.

Value for the money
Purchased to replace old florescent fixtures in an unfinished garage (open trusses). Wanted something to hard wire vs plugging in which means adding outlets. Hard wire is possible but the wire gauge is so small (18 or 22 awg) makes it difficult but can be done. Better off to install an outlet and plug directly. If you plug directly, you will have the switch in line which may be a "weak link". I cropped the wire directly after the switch to eliminate it completely. My installation thought was changed and I ended up linking 4 of them together along an open truss. The 20" linking wires have a half twist in them for some reason. Not sure why, which does not allow them to lay flat along the wall or ceiling. I bent the clips to allow for tighter securing as these are in a garage installation and store wood overhead. Installations similar to this should consider to use a tie wrap or similar method for additional securing.around the truss for peace of mind (14" tie wrap for standard 2 x 4 trusses) I opened the light up to see if I could come up with a better securing method and screw directly vs using the clips. Don't waste your time exploring this option. Highly recommend this product and have already ordered another set. Positive Light output excellent Easy to link Price - Value is outstanding Packaged well Negative Small gauge wire - recommend a 16 awg minimum on primary power cables - link cables ok Clips - consider a "tougher" design for garage installations - maybe one that wraps around the entire fixture Screw - garbage - strips easy - recommend a COARSE truss head dry wall screw or regular coarse drywall screw vs what was provided Not UL listed (as per question) Update 1/31 - Radio interference these put out is quite high and noticeable. This makes my radio nearly unusable in the shop. I have tried multiple radios and the best is a Stereo receiver. Still have interference though. Either way, I am still satisfied with the product I will look into a better alternative for shop radio. Car radio seems unaffected.
