Khoai tây bạn chà rửa thật sạch, giữ nguyên vỏ. Đặt 1 đôi đũa song song rồi cắt lát khoai tây như trong hình. Xếp khoai tây vào khay nướng, rưới dầu olive, muối và tiêu lên rồi nướng trong 55 phút ở nhiệt độ 400°F/200°C.
Thịt xông khói và phô mai cắt nhỏ. Chèn các mẩu phô mai và thịt xông khói xen giữa vào khoai tây, nướng thêm 10-15 phút nữa là được.
