Thịt heo bằm trộn đều với hành tím băm, 1 muỗng canh bột bắp, 1 muỗng cà phê hạt nêm, nhồi cho quyện đều rồi vê thành những viên nhỏ. Cà chua rửa sạch, thái nhỏ múi cau.
Đun nóng 20ml dầu ăn trong chảo, cho cà chua thái nhỏ vào đảo đều. Khi cà chua hơi sốt thì cho vào 1 chén nước nhỏ, đun sôi. Tiếp đến cho những viên thịt vào đun nhỏ lửa cho thịt chín. Nêm 5g dầu hào, 5ml nước tương, 2g muối, 10g đường. Khi cà chín mềm thì rắc thêm hành lá và ngò rí, tắt bếp.
